    What is the International Health & Fitness Fair?

    The International Health and Fitness Fair is sponsored by leading Los Angeles area medical centers and physicians, a prestigious health sciences university, and other organizations with a focus on prevention and wellness. The Fair offers a vast array of both free and low-cost services with one goal in mind—keeping you and your family healthy.

    The Fair is a great opportunity to be tested on key health factors, get answers to health questions, and to discover ways to improve overall health and fitness.

    Health care professionals proficient in many languages will be there to offer services, and to provide advice and counsel on dozens of health and wellness topics. People of all ages will benefit from what the Fair has to offer.

    Mark your calendar for this exceptional event— Sunday, November 16, from 9am to 5pm at the
    Pasadena Convention Center, 300 E. Green Street in Pasadena.

    Low-Cost Health Screenings

    • EKG (electrocardiogram) tracing/physician
      reading ($10)
    • ABI (ankle, brachial index) to check for the
      presence of peripheral artery disease ($10)
    • Complete blood chemistry including blood
      count, thyroid, lipids, and hepatitis B ($25)*
    • PSA (prostate specific antigen)—prostate
      cancer screening ($20)
    • CA 125-ovarian cancer screening ($20)
    • Carotid artery screening—a test to evaluate
      stroke risk ($20)
    • Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening ($20)

    *Note: For the blood chemistry test, best results
    are obtained if you fast for 8-12 hours in advance
    of the test. You may drink water during that time
